Role Overview

The Quality Engineer (Manager) is responsible for leading testing activities within ServiceNow implementations, ensuring high-quality delivery across projects. This role oversees test strategy, manages testing teams, and ensures alignment with business requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Delivery

• Define and manage end-to-end testing strategies, plans, and execution.

• Oversee all testing phases including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test reports.

• Monitor testing progress, defects, and quality metrics throughout delivery.

Leadership & Governance

• Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers and testers.

• Ensure adherence to testing standards, methodologies, and governance practices.

• Identify risks and issues, and drive resolution across stakeholders.

• Provide regular updates on testing status and quality outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business and technical teams to define testing objectives.

• Translate technical requirements into test strategies aligned with business needs.

• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience leading ServiceNow testing initiatives and managing QA teams.

• Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, methodologies, and defect management.

• Experience in developing test strategies, plans, and reports.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• SQL knowledge and functional testing expertise.

Preferred

• Familiarity with ServiceNow certifications and testing frameworks.

• Experience in enterprise-level testing environments.
