Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer – ITAM (HAM & SAM)

Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM), specifically Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing asset lifecycle processes, license management, and integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems, along with solid exposure to ITSM and scripting.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ServiceNow solutions focused on ITAM (HAM & SAM modules)
• Manage end-to-end asset lifecycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement)
• Implement and configure Software Asset Management including license tracking, compliance, and optimization
• Configure Hardware Asset Management including inventory, stockrooms, and asset normalization
• Integrate ITAM with CMDB and ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Request)
• Develop scripts using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts
• Build and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server
• Configure workflows and automation using Flow Designer
• Implement discovery and normalization for accurate asset data
• Ensure software compliance and audit readiness
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams for asset governance
• Perform data imports, reconciliation, and data quality management
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize platform performance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
• Strong expertise in:
• ITAM (Hardware Asset Management – HAM)
• Software Asset Management (SAM Pro preferred)
• Good experience in ITSM modules
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Glide APIs)
• Experience in software licensing models (per user, per device, subscription, SaaS)
• Hands-on experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server)
• Knowledge of CMDB and asset data models
• Experience with Flow Designer and workflow automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM)
• Experience with SAM Pro features (reconciliation, normalization, SaaS license management)
• Knowledge of ITIL framework
• Experience in vendor management and contract management
• Exposure to cloud asset management (AWS, Azure, SaaS tools)
