Miamisburg, OH, 45342 – 6-12 Month Contract – Onsite 5 Days a week – $65 – $75 per hour W-2

CBTS is searching for a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer responsible for the configuration, customization, development, maintenance, and daily administration of ServiceNow instances. They support ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications while ensuring platform stability, compliance, integrations, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Platform Administration
• Manage, configure, and maintain core ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Catalog.
• Administer user accounts, roles, groups, permissions, ACLs, and access governance.
• Monitor system health, usage, logs, and overall platform compliance.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute platform upgrades, patches, and release cycles; validate post-upgrade functionality.

2. Development & Customization
• Configure and develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, UI Pages, Notifications, Formatters, etc.
• Build & enhance custom applications, workflows, integration points, service catalogs, reports, and dashboards.
• Customize portals using web technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap).
• Maintain and extend integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers.

3. Production Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide daily administration and issue resolution across multiple ServiceNow instances (including FedRAMP in some roles).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical and performance-related issues.
• Ensure proper documentation for support processes, changes, and platform configurations.

4. Agile Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Participate in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Work with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, product owners, and developers.
• Gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with ITIL practices.

Requirements:

Technical Skills
• 3–10+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years of ServiceNow administration/development.

Expertise in:
• ITSM / CMDB / ITOM modules
• JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS
• Web Services (REST/SOAP), integrations
• Scripting and workflow development
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.
• Excellent communication for interacting with business and technical teams.

Certifications (commonly required)
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) — required for many employers.
• Preferred: ITIL certifications, additional ServiceNow specialty certs (ITSM, HRSD, CSM, Discovery/CMDB).
