Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Senior ServiceNow Process Lead with a background in high-level role focused on designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow solutions for business processes and experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery and process optimization to place at our client, an industry leading technology company.

Position: ServiceNow Test Engineer
Location: 2 days a week, Hybrid, Downtown Toronto, Ontario
Contract Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Salary Range: $150K-175K
Position Summary: This project will be in support of the process design and implementation for enterprise-wide ServiceNow upgrade and migration across a major payments organization
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
• Business Process Analysis and Design : Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and design new processes that leverage ServiceNows capabilities.
• ServiceNow Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and applications to meet specific business needs, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Process Implementation and Support: Oversee the implementation of ServiceNow solutions, providing guidance and support to users and stakeholders throughout the process.
• Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership to ServiceNow development teams, mentoring and guiding junior staff.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues related to ServiceNow solutions and identify solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow implementations and processes.
• Training and Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to effectively utilize ServiceNow solutions.
• Knowledge Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge bases and documentation related to ServiceNow processes.
Requirements:
• Extensive ServiceNow Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including experience in a technical lead role.
• ServiceNow Certifications: Preferred, including System Administrator, Developer, and/or other relevant certifications.
• ITIL Foundation Certification: Recommended.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and REST/SOAP.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and other ServiceNow scripting components.
• Ability to customize the ServiceNow user interface and Service Portal.
• Knowledgeable in integrations and migrations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Leadership and mentoring skills
