IT Valley (London) Limited is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of servers, networks, and security systems, while providing reliable support to end-users. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
· Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring uptime and security compliance.
· Develop, implement, and maintain asset management policies and procedures aligned with ITSM best practices.
· Perform regular audits and reconciliations to maintain hardware accuracy and compliance standards.
· Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
· Manage Active Directory, user access, group policies, and role-based permissions.
· Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and patch management processes.
· Automate workflows and service catalog items to streamline IT operations.
· Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics in ServiceNow.
· Support integration of ServiceNow with other IT tools and systems.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience Required:
· ServiceNow Administration – Strong foundation in core modules, workflow configuration, and platform customization.
· JavaScript & Scripting – Ability to develop scripts for workflow automation and tailored solutions.
· IT Service Management (ITSM) – Knowledge of ITIL best practices and hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM processes.
· Database Management – Proficient in relational databases (e.g., MySQL) for effective data handling.
· API & System Integration – Skilled in leveraging REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
