As a member of the Chief Technology Office (CTO), you will contribute to all aspects of the technology products and services we deliver, from technical strategy and design to coding to deployment to operation. Our ServiceNow team are responsible for the build and maintenance of enterprise scale ServiceNow Platform serving multiple capabilities across the bank including ITSM/ITOM, IRM, SecOps, and Employee workflow modules.

You will be part of a squad of ServiceNow DevOps Engineers, work with our Staff Engineers and Engineering Managers to ensure the availability and reliability of the ServiceNow platform. This role will support design and implementation of integrations and related automation, adoption of coding best practices, CI/CD and technical debt management of the platform. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for triaging and troubleshooting production incidents, develop fixes, delivering new features while ensuring compliance with established standards and policies. You will have a strong background in production support, design and build of ServiceNow with a focus on IRM and a passion for staying current with emerging technologies and trends. This is chance to support a critical platform that is driving transformational changes across the group, specifically in Technology enablement.

We are interested in hearing from people who are:
• Experienced in supporting large ServiceNow implementations
• Skilled in design, development, testing and implementation of ServiceNow IRM module
• Collaborating with stakeholders and gather integration requirements
• Build Integration Patterns and define Integration strategies
• Providing guidance and support peers in development process
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure successful deployments
• Have experience in running operations aligned to ITIL framework and/or SRE principles
• Working with a sense of urgency by understanding business impacts and with excellent incident response skills
• Having strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify technical issues and provide effective solutions

Tech skills:

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these, or a willing to learn these skillsets, (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team!

• Experience in software development, with a focus on ServiceNow IRM (Integrated Risk Management) Module development.
• Experience in implementing-integration and leveraging Configuration of IRM module is key
• Knowledge on integration interfaces (JDBC, JSON, SOAP, REST, OPENID, SAML, ODBC, DATA exports, transform maps)
• Web Service, MID Server Integration
• Knowledge on Integration Hub, Automation Engine and Stream Connect
• Knowledge on API Gateway Technologies
• Experience and knowledge of SDLC, ITIL, CI/CD pipeline, automation, testing, scripting, networking and related technologies
• Deep knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, REST and associated technologies
• Knowledge of web user interface unit testing, profiling, and code tuning
• Experience in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Ability to work under the guidelines of SDLC Processes including Deployment across multiple complex environments
• Ability to develop ATF’s and progressively work across maximum Coverage for Texting
