Job Summary
ServiceNow QA is a senior-level QA professional responsible for leading testing efforts for enterprise ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements. This role will oversee quality assurance activities throughout the SDLC and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead QA and testing activities for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Utilize ServiceNow Test Management and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Review user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Track, manage, and validate defects through resolution.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
• Provide testing status reports, metrics, and risk assessments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support ServiceNow platform upgrade and release testing.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices.
Required Skills
• 5+ years of ServiceNow QA and testing experience.
• 5+ years working in Agile software development environments.
• Experience testing:
• ServiceNow ITSM
• ServiceNow CRM/CSM
• Hands-on experience with:
• ServiceNow Test Management
• Automated Test Framework (ATF)
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Highly Desired Skills
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
• 5+ years of ServiceNow platform upgrade and release testing experience.
• Experience testing ServiceNow integrations with external systems.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Ideal Candidate
• Strong ServiceNow QA Lead/Test Lead background.
• Hands-on ATF Automation experience.
• ITSM and CSM testing expertise.
• Agile and SDLC experience.
• ServiceNow certifications preferred.
