Sr. ServiceNow Developer – Hardware Logistics Integration

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations with logistics providers using IntegrationHub and MID Server
• Configure scheduled data imports, Import Sets, and Transform Maps to ingest shipment details and warehouse transactions
• Define and enforce CMDB reconciliation rules to align physical inventory with ServiceNow records
• Develop error-handling and alerting mechanisms, including retry logic and exception notifications
• Collaborate with external vendors to validate API contracts, authentication (OAuth2, API keys), and data-security requirements
• Build runbooks and automated workflows for inbound receipts, outbound deployments, returns, and discrepancy resolution
• Extend ServiceNow assets and CI classes to capture logistics attributes (tracking number, carrier, delivery status)
• Implement data-cleansing routines and mapping scripts to normalize logistics data for analytics
• Document integration patterns, update sets, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles for ongoing maintenance

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of ServiceNow integration development, including IntegrationHub spokes and Scripted REST
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Glide API), Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Script Includes
• Hands-on experience with CMDB data modeling, Transform Maps, and reconciliation processes
• Strong understanding of logistics workflows: shipment tracking, inventory movement, warehouse allocations
• Familiarity with web-service authentication methods (OAuth2, mutual TLS, API-key)
• Experience with error-handling frameworks and monitoring integrations
• Preferred Skills
• ServiceNow Certified Integration Specialist or CMDB Implementation Specialist
• Prior integration experience with Lenovo or other hardware-logistics APIs
• Knowledge of AI-driven EDLM platforms and predictive asset-management tools
• Exposure to notification channels (Microsoft Teams bots/cards or SMS via Twilio) for shipment alerts
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and update-set version control (Git)
