ServiceNow Systems Administrator
Location: Hybrid — Richland, WA (onsite as requested)
Clearance & Work Authorization: U.S. citizens only
Employment Type: Contract (W-2 hourly)
Compensation: $52.00 – $55.46/hr
Role summary
Lead the technical environment and platform administration for the ServiceNow instances supporting HMIS. Ensure readiness, performance, security alignment, and successful upgrades/patching.
What you’ll do
• Install/configure environments; coordinate infra with HMIS DBA/Admin.
• Apply patches, upgrades, maintenance packs; execute and document upgrade steps.
• Monitor and tune performance; troubleshoot application/server issues.
• Manage users/roles/ACLs adhering to least-privilege and cyber principles.
• Maintain configuration documentation and change control artifacts.
• Support discovery patterns, integrations, and data imports as needed.
• Assist with test planning, UAT, and cutover; support hypercare.
Required qualifications
• 4+ years ServiceNow administration in enterprise settings.
• Hands-on with instance cloning, update sets, MID Servers, and platform security basics.
• Familiarity with CMDB and Asset constructs (classes, relationships, data hygiene).
• U.S. citizenship.
Preferred
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (attach copy).
• PowerShell, Python, or scripting for admin automation; ITIL Foundation.
