ServiceNow Architect
Location: Hybrid – Greater Phoenix (Chandler, AZ)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Hybrid (3 days/week)
Reports To: SVP, Technology

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, HAM, SAM, CSM, CRM, and other modules. This is a newly created senior role offering the opportunity to set the architectural direction, drive integrations, and support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on in ServiceNow design while also providing strategic leadership, guiding technical teams, and engaging with stakeholders to align business needs with platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Solution Architecture: Lead end-to-end ServiceNow solution design, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, and CMDB.
• Strategic Planning: Partner with stakeholders to define the platform vision, roadmap, and priorities.
• Customization & Configuration: Oversee scalable module configurations and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Integration Design: Architect integrations with AWS, Azure, Salesforce, LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, and other platforms.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Guide development teams, establish coding standards, and ensure solution quality.
• Platform Optimization: Drive improvements in performance, usability, data integrity, and cost-efficiency.
• Governance & Security: Ensure compliance with governance, data security, and system controls.
• Client Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert, advising on architecture, automation, and platform capabilities.
• Documentation: Deliver solution documentation, workflows, and architecture diagrams.
• Upgrades & Enhancements: Lead system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal disruption.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years designing/implementing ServiceNow solutions, including 3+ years in an Architect/Lead role.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CMDB, and CSDM alignment.
• Integrations: Strong background in REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, MID Server, and enterprise system integrations.
• Scripting: Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, and custom scripting.
• Platform Governance: Experience with update sets, version control, deployment, and governance frameworks.
• Tools: Familiarity with Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and automation frameworks.
• Certifications (Preferred): ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or CTA.
• Methodologies: Solid understanding of ITIL and Agile project delivery.
• Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder based in the Greater Phoenix area.
Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare or SLED industry experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow SPM.
• Advanced knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and cloud-service integrations.
