ServiceNow Presales and Solutions Lead. Edison, NJ, Hybrid
About the role
A global technology and consulting leader is hiring a Presales and Solutions Lead for its ServiceNow practice. You will own the solution and the pursuit for ServiceNow opportunities, crafting value propositions contextual to each customer, authoring and defending proposals, and carrying a TCV target. This is a sell-side solutioning role, not a delivery or admin role. BFSI domain depth is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
• Lead presales and solutioning for ServiceNow opportunities across a portfolio of accounts, spanning Enterprise IT, front, middle, and back office operations
• Craft a solution strategy and value proposition contextual to the customer landscape and problem statement
• Author responses to RFI, RFP, and RFX and proactive proposals in PowerPoint and Word, and defend the solution internally and with the end customer
• Carry a TCV target, and build and manage the opportunity pipeline through proactive engagement
• Deliver value pitches, product demos, and proofs of concept to business executives
• Develop composite solutions across ITxM (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM), HRSD, CSM, FSM and FSO, IRM and GRC, SecOps, App Engine, and AI on the platform (Now Assist, GenAI, Agentic AI)
• Collaborate with ServiceNow partner and field sales organizations to build and manage joint pursuits
• Work with delivery teams and COEs to mine opportunities, create reusable collateral and success stories, and ensure a clean transition from sale to delivery
• Act as a trusted partner to customers, participate in delivery governance, and engage in short-term consulting and advisory with strategic accounts
Qualifications
• 10 plus years overall IT experience, including 5 plus years in the ServiceNow ecosystem and 3 plus years in presales and solutions
• Breadth across ServiceNow non-IT products (HRSD, CSM, IRM, SecOps, FSO) alongside ITxM (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM)
• Depth in CMDB, CSDM, and Discovery, and greenfield and re-platforming implementation experience
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow operating models (MSP and direct, centralized and federated) and licensing
• Sound understanding of AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI architecture, solutions, and use cases
• Familiarity with competing platforms (BMC, Pega, Archer, Salesforce, Workday) and adjacent products
• ServiceNow certifications: CSA and CIS required, CAD or CMA and presales accreditations preferred
• Comfortable as both individual contributor and leader, able to navigate a matrix and ambiguity, and well versed in the onshore and offshore model
• Willing to travel approximately 25 percent
Preferred
• Banking, financial services, or insurance domain background
• Strong depth in the ServiceNow non-IT product portfolio and in CMDB, Discovery, AIOps, ITAM, and EA
• ServiceNow consulting and advisory experience
