Job description

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Practice Lead to head our ServiceNow team and drive the growth of our platform across the organization. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of hands-on experience working with multiple ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CMDB, along with strong technical skills and leadership capabilities.

In this role, you’ll not only be responsible for building and delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions the ideal candidate will be playing a strategic role in guiding our ServiceNow practice, helping define standards, drive platform governance, and support the scaling of ServiceNow solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee the ServiceNow team, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices.
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions customized to business requirements.
• Work across various modules like ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and more.
• Develop custom applications using ServiceNow Studio and App Engine.
• Create and manage workflows, client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand and deliver project requirements.
• Document development processes and assist in user training and adoption.
• Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with ServiceNow in a development role.
• Proven expertise in multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB).
• Strong command of JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
• Experience with system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer & Certified System Administrator are mandatory; additional certifications (CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM,(CAS-PA,CIS-CPG) are a plus.
• Understanding of software development principles, Agile methodology, and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and platform optimization.
• Exposure to ITIL processes and ITSM best practices.
