HAM Analyst:

 Configuration and maintenance of Hardware Asset Management Workspace for

Operational Use

 Knowledge transfer to Hardware Asset Management Team on Hardware Asset

Management Workspace for supporting day-to-day activities

 Ensure Correctness and Completeness of Asset related attributes being

populated from Discovery as well as non-discoverable attributes

 Daily remediation of discrepancies and gaps reported through the ITAM

Dashboards

 Hardware Model Management – Normalization of Hardware Models and

population of Lifecycle data (EOL/EOS) from Content Library

 Alignment of Hardware Models and Service Catalog

 Establish and manage data Certification cycle for Product Owners to certify and

attest to the EOL/EOS dates populated from the Content Library aligned to

Hardware Models

 Identify and report on Hardware Product EOL/EOS dates with a focus on

Products that have approaching EOL/EOS dates, Approved Exceptions &

Remediation Activities in progress

 Enablement of Out of the Box Catalogs/Workflows for Lifecycle Management

 Population of Financial data for each of the defined Hardware

 Correctness and Completeness of Financial field population for all Hardware

Models

 Tracking and reporting on financial costs associated with Hardware Assets

Objectives:

 Mature knowledge and usage of Hardware Asset Management and HAM Pro

Components leveraging ServiceNow native tooling capabilities

 Mature Operational Health of Hardware Asset Management (Completeness,

Correctness, and Compliance)

 Improve Visibility and Insights of Hardware Asset Management Data

 Improve Correctness and Completeness Hardware Model Data

 Improve Data Consistency and Accuracy for Hardware Assets

 Mature End of Life and End of Support Management for Hardware Assets

 Provide Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cost Optimization through Financial

Management of Hardware Assets
