Job Description
Must work on-site five days a week in Woodlawn, MD.
Key Required Skills:
– Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Developer across various modules and services.
– Experience as a ServiceNow Team Lead, providing direction and assistance to the development team.
Position Description:
– Serve as both a Team Lead and a Senior ServiceNow Developer.
– Analyze customer requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses technical needs, management considerations, maximizes automation, and provides operational reporting.
– Lead the development of solution artifacts, including roadmaps, operational optimization, architecture diagrams, and block diagrams, considering user story requirements.
– Assist in building prototypes and lead technical reviews and discussions around defined requirements.
– Mentor ServiceNow Developers.
Detailed Skills Requirements
Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of experience, or 11+ years of experience instead of a degree.
– Minimum of 8 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
– Excellent technical leadership skills and a proactive attitude toward taking on additional responsibilities.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering technical solutions simply and concisely.
– Experience working with the U.S. Federal Government.
– Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (contract requirement).
– Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD, five days a week.
Factors to Help You Shine (Required Skills):
– 8+ years of experience developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, including ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and HR.
– 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
– Experience across numerous aspects of the ServiceNow platform, along with knowledge of commonly integrated third-party technologies.
– 5+ years of experience in developing system architecture, design principles, and understanding their impacts.
– 5+ years of experience supporting IT-related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM, etc.).
– 5+ years of industry experience in sectors such as Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, and Retail.
– 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change and solutions.
Required ServiceNow Certifications:
– Certified System Administrator (baseline)
– Certified Application Developer (baseline)

– CIS – Customer Service Management

Additional Desired Experience:
– Proficiency in web development technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular, JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java.
– Experience implementing JavaScript to support automation across various modules in ServiceNow.
– Familiarity with REST and SOAP web service protocols.
– Experience with Business Rules, Workflows, Identification Rules, Workspaces, and External Portals.
– Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP.
– Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications in ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM, or HR.
– Project Management or Agile Certification.
– ITILv4 Foundations Certification.
– Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Education:
