ServiceNow Developer

Experience : 6+ Years (Min 3+ years of relevant exp in service now development)

Work location : Chennai

Mode : Work from Office

Mode of Hire : Contract to hire

Notice Period : Immediate joiners ONLY

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification / (Latest or Latest -1), if certification is not readily available then need to complete the certification before joining the work.
• Customer Service Management (CSM) Implementation Specialist. – preferred to have but if candidates has good implementation expertise then this is not mandatory.
• Good implementation experience is mandatory
• Implement IT SNOW CSM development & Integration plans and processes to meet business requirements for new and revised SNOW CSM [GSConnect] system and programs
• Support project management by preparing progress reports and status of key milestones for SNOW CSM [GSConnect] development & integration projects
• Prepare code or modify SNOW CSM [GSConnect] components based on design specifications, while adhering to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques and development methodologies
• Conduct code reviews, identify potential issues and provide feedback for appropriate revisions
• Plan and implement steps to create interfaces between major systems
• Perform maintenance and problem resolution on single or multiple applications or interfaces
• Identify opportunities for improving SNOW CSM [GSConnect] functionality and performance issues by working with customers and architecture resources
• Coordinate, design and maintain a test environment, including data customization (i.e. aging, creation, manipulation, extraction, etc.)
• Select and apply appropriate tools to manage test processes, validate results and perform various levels of testing appropriate to the environment
• Develop test deliverables in line with pre-defined areas of quality control (i.e. test planning, test preparation, test execution, defect management and test reporting), including building definitions, specification/ requirement decomposition, and requirement matrices
• Determine test cases, conditions, checklists, decision tables, systems controls and auditability checks
• Oversee and facilitate the test process including structuring, facilitating or participating in reviews and inspections
• Resolve and analyze issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for IT SNOW CSM [GSConnect] development & integration focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
