Detailed Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Developer in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) with a strong focus on Software Asset Management (SAM). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing, designing, and delivering ServiceNow SAM solutions for financial sector clients, along with hands-on involvement in pre-sales and solutioning activities.

This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow SAM modules, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and customize ServiceNow SAM solutions to align with client needs, especially in the financial domain.
• Configure and customize SAM modules such as license optimization, asset lifecycle management, and cost reduction strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Integrate ServiceNow SAM with third-party applications (CRM, financial systems, etc.) to ensure seamless workflows and data consistency.
• Provide post-implementation support and optimize solutions for performance and compliance.
• Deliver client training and knowledge transfer sessions on ServiceNow SAM best practices.
• Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases and adopt new features into solution designs.
• Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and standards during SAM implementations.
• Participate in pre-sales activities such as requirement gathering, solutioning, proposal preparation, and client engagement.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
• 5+ years of experience in implementing and designing ServiceNow solutions with focus on Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow SAM modules (license optimization, asset lifecycle, cost control).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM (CIS-SAM).
• Proven experience with third-party integrations (CRM, financial systems, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile methodology, sprint planning, and delivery.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Qualifications
• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics & reporting in SAM context.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and its application to SAM and financial services.
• Prior experience in change management and driving adoption of SAM solutions.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
• Previous experience delivering SAM solutions for banks or financial organizations.
