The ServiceNow Squad currently consists of 3 DevOps teams. Each consists of 7 colleagues working from the Netherlands and India.

We’re looking for a lead developer, teamlead who can help guide the two junior teammembers, work together with the integration team (21 persons). Platform is currently not used to the max, both on processes and new tech like ML and AI.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you work closely with user organizations and the Product Owner to clarify wishes and needs and translate them into effective solutions. You also work together in an international team with a lot of knowledge and expertise to develop and realize these solutions. As part of one of the 3 ServiceNow teams you are responsible for entire KPN and all business users. In total we have 800.000 active ServiceNow users. Besides using ServiceNow as service management tool we also use it for risk management, security management and some own built applications.

Your Role
• Your responsibilities as a ServiceNow Developer will be;
• You help the Product Owner to understand user needs and together with your team ‘refine’ your ‘stories’ to realize them in ‘sprints’;
• You work together with your team colleagues to further develop and realize these solutions. You organize help from other teams if needed and ensure that you secure knowledge and expertise in your team subsequently;
• Sometimes something goes wrong and because we are DevOps you solve incidents yourself and learn how we can improve ourselves subsequently;
• You’ll also be working on recurring operational tasks and you use your creativity to further simplify and automate this type of work. Our Roadmap consists of a lot of innovations, so join our team as ServiceNow developer!

Technical Skills
• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator;
• At least 3 years of work experience in the service management application domain with ServiceNow;
• Work experience with CSM Module is mandatory for this role.
• Demonstrable knowledge of AngularJS and other script / programming programs (Java, JavaScript, xml, html);
• Excellent command of the English language in word and writing, willing to learn Dutch;
• Excellent cooperation qualities;
• ITIL V3 knowledge and / or certification;
• Communicative strength, solution-oriented, sense of priority and value.

What We Offer
• Initial 9 month contract assignment with option to extension
• Hybrid working (We are working together at the office every Tuesday and Wednesday)

• Contract to permanent assignment is possible for this vacancy
• Bandwidth for a fixed term assignment: €4100 – €5422 gross per month, excl. holiday payments.
