Position: Service Now Technical Advisor – Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
We are seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Technical Advisor to support the Bank’s Service Management Platform team in strengthening and stabilizing its Configuration Management Database (CMDB) environment. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Advisor will lead CMDB assessments, define and execute a roadmap for enhancements, and drive initiatives to improve data quality, governance, and overall platform reliability. This role also includes troubleshooting and enhancing CMDB integrations, maintaining technical delivery plans, and ensuring clear documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication across all phases of delivery.
The ideal candidate brings extensive, hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, including CI data models, Discovery, Service Mapping, CI lifecycle management, and data quality governance practices such as KPIs, normalization, and reconciliation. Acting as a technical lead and subject matter expert, they will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and ensure smooth transition from development to operations. Experience leveraging ServiceNow automation and AI capabilities (where approved) to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity is an asset, along with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills in regulated environments.
This is a remote, full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with an expected start date of July 2nd and an approximate duration of one year.
