SERVICENOW CMDB MANAGER

• Lead governance, quality management, and lifecycle processes for the CMDB.
• Ensure CSDM alignment and maintain CI class definitions and relationships.
• Review and approve CI models, naming conventions, and data sources.
• Collaborate with technical teams to maintain Discovery, service mapping, and integrations.
• Monitor CMDB data quality and produce CI health reports.
• Support integration of CMDB into ITSM, ITOM, and other platform functions.
• Maintain CMDB documentation and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5+ years of IM/IT operational experience with at least 3+ years managing CMDB or asset data.
• Degree or diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• ITIL certification required; ITIL Specialist (CDS, HVIT) – preferred.
• ServiceNow certifications: CIS–CMDB or CSDM-related training – an asset.
• Strong understanding of CMDB governance, CI lifecycle management, and CSDM alignment.
• Experience with discovery tools, data reconciliation, service mapping, and dependency modeling.
• Ability to analyze data quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills across multiple technical and business domains.
• Strong documentation, organization, and analytical abilities.
• Understanding of asset, configuration, incident, and change processes.
