ServiceNow CMDB Architect

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Consultant to lead and support a large-scale CMDB implementation. This role is part-time (2–3 days/week) with the flexibility to work in a hybrid setting.

Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Expert

Location: Chelsea, MA (Hybrid/Remote flexibility)

Duration: 1 Year (Part-Time, 2–3 days per week)

Responsibilities

Lead CMDB strategy, architecture, and governance.

Assess current CMDB, identify gaps, and improve data quality.

Work with IT and business teams to align CMDB with needs.

Implement data cleanup (deduplication, normalization, enrichment).

Integrate with ServiceNow and discovery tools (ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, Tanium).

Create reports/dashboards for CMDB health.

Mentor and train internal teams.

Requirements

10+ years in IT Configuration Management / CMDB.

Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITIL framework.

Hands-on with data modeling, CI taxonomy, and reconciliation.

Knowledge of discovery tools (ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, Tanium).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Nice to Have

Insurance industry experience (Property & Casualty).

ITIL / ServiceNow certifications.

Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
