San Antonio, TXServiceNow Business AnalystPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst with strong expertise in CMDB, Discovery, and Event Management to support enterprise IT operations and service management initiatives. This role will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow capabilities, with a focus on data integrity, platform integrations, and event-driven operations.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements related to ServiceNow modulesTranslate business needs into functional specifications and user storiesFacilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align on CMDB and Event Management strategiesCMDB & DiscoveryAnalyze and support CMDB data model design, governance, and optimizationEnsure data integrity, normalization, and reconciliation across configuration items (CIs)Work closely with technical teams to enhance ServiceNow Discovery and Service MappingIdentify gaps in CI relationships and dependencies to improve service visibilityEvent Management & CorrelationDrive requirements and enhancements for ServiceNow Event ManagementSupport design and implementation of event correlation rules, alert suppression, and noise reduction strategiesCollaborate on establishing event-to-incident automation workflowsAnalyze event data to improve system monitoring and incident response efficiencyIntegrations & Platform SynchronizationDefine and document requirements for ServiceNow integrations with external tools and platformsSupport integration use cases involving monitoring tools, cloud platforms, and ITOM systemsEnsure proper data synchronization and consistency across systemsPartner with development teams on API, MID Server, and integration framework implementationsProcess Improvement & GovernanceAlign ServiceNow capabilities with ITIL best practicesSupport governance frameworks for CMDB lifecycle management and Event Management processesIdentify opportunities for automation and continuous improvementDevelop documentation, process flows, and reporting dashboardsEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
