Position Summary
Seeking a Senior ServiceNow Project Manager/Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow workflows and integrations for a federal government client. The ideal candidate will have strong architectural expertise, hands-on development experience, and the ability to guide stakeholders on platform best practices and compliance.
This hybrid role, based in Ashburn, VA, offers the opportunity to impact enterprise service delivery and modernization within a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Functional Responsibilities
• Lead the architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions across multiple task areas.
• Define and enforce development standards, platform governance, and security controls for ServiceNow.
• Ensure compliance with government TRM, FedRAMP, Section 508, and DHS IT security policies
• Lead cross-functional Agile teams in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, release reviews, and retrospectives.
• Develop and configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HR, and GRC to meet mission requirements.
• Build workflows, dashboards, catalog items, and integrations with enterprise systems.
• Implement automation and performance improvements across ServiceNow capabilities.
• Support governance workflows for ServiceNow requests, approvals, and enterprise change control.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into ServiceNow solutions and manage Jira epics and user stories.
• Present roadmaps, architecture decisions, and enhancement strategies to government leadership and governance bodies.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years of ServiceNow development and architecture experience, including 3 years in a senior architect role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent specialized experience.
• Proficiency in cloud-based enterprise IT service platforms and Scrum Master methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and implement complex ServiceNow modules and workflows.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, scripting, and integration methods (APIs, web services, MID servers).
• Experience supporting federal enterprise programs with a governance and compliance focus.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical teams and government stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Ashburn, VA, at least 3 days per week in a hybrid work model.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200,000.00 – $210,000.00 per year
