Role Description
We are seeking a high-level ServiceNow Architect to lead the development of an AI Control Tower and the integration of AI features within our IRM (Integrated Risk Management) module. As a key technical consultant for a forward-thinking firm, you will bridge the gap between emerging AI governance and enterprise risk.
This is a contract (1099) position designed for a self-driven expert who values architectural excellence, speed of delivery, and maintainable code.
Mission:
• Architect the AI Control Tower: Build a centralized governance framework within ServiceNow to monitor and manage AI-driven workflows.
• IRM Innovation: Develop and deploy specific AI features within the IRM/GRC modules to automate risk mapping and compliance monitoring.
• Platform Mastery: Utilize ServiceNow’s native AI capabilities (including Now Assist) to enhance predictive analytics and user experience.
• Strategic Execution: Work directly with leadership to ensure all builds align with the broader vision of scalable, automated governance.
Requirements:
• Deep ServiceNow Expertise: Proven experience building in the IRM/GRC suite and a strong understanding of ServiceNow’s internal AI framework.
• Communication: Native or professional-level English proficiency with extensive experience working within the US corporate or federal ecosystem.
• Reliability: Available to work standard business hours in the Maryland (Eastern) Time Zone.
• Mobility: Comfortable traveling to Maryland up to twice a month; 100% remote for the remainder of the time.
• Professionalism: Must pass a comprehensive background check.
Qualifications:
• Platform Mastery: Advanced Architecture experience specifically within ServiceNow IRM/GRC. You must be able to design schemas for the AI Control Tower that scale without “technical debt.”
• AI Implementation: Proven track record with ServiceNow Now Assist and GenAI Controller. You understand how to build AI features that are auditable.
• Autonomous Ownership: You act as the Architect and the Lead. You can manage the technical roadmap with minimal oversight while keeping the “Big Picture” in focus.
• Compliance & Presence: US Citizen or Green Card holder only. You must be willing to pass a detailed background check and travel to Maryland for a final face-to-face interview and twice-monthly site visits.
• English Proficiency: Must have professional-grade English and extensive experience working within the US business ecosystem.
Preferred Credentials:
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Risk and Compliance or AI Hub/Now Assist.
• Experience in C-SCRM or ISO 27001 frameworks.
Interview Process:
We value authenticity and high-stakes accountability. Qualified candidates will undergo a multi-stage vetting process, including a mandatory face-to-face interview in Maryland.
