About the Project

This Department is in the early stages of a large, multi-year transformative program to replace our aging core election IT systems and infrastructure which will transform the way this Department provides election services to citizens. The initiative is a once in a generation program to support the delivery of election and roll management services with modern technology and is built on delivering capability maturity improvements with a focus on users.


The Succuessful candidate will involved in the following:
• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow platform in alignment with program and organisational goals.
• Ensure the architecture is scalable, maintainable, and aligns with business processes and technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with design and coding standards.
• Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify their requirements and translate them into effect ServiceNow solutions.
• Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Key Skills to have
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations using best practices and standards.
• Understand and provide advice, guidance and facilitation in regards to ServiceNow best practice development platform, methodology and solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. Experience as a Developer or Systems Administrator in working with ServiceNow modules – ITSM , ITOM, and HR.Ability to analyse, estimate, and deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft development practices, platforms, and technologies, including:
• Office 365 platforms
• SharePoint
• Azure DevOps
