• Manage and administer the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance to meet evolving business needs.
• Develop and implement solutions within ServiceNow using scripting languages such as JavaScript, ensuring seamless integration with other IT systems and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable system architectures aligned with service-oriented architecture principles.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues related to system architecture, load balancing, and network connectivity to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems such as Pegasystems, AWS cloud services, VMware virtualization environments, and various APIs (RESTful API).
• Maintain security protocols by managing firewalls, VPNs, DNS configurations, and information security policies to safeguard sensitive data.
• Support DevOps practices by implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, scripting (Bash/PowerShell), and automation tools for efficient deployment cycles.
• Conduct system design reviews focusing on scalability, microservices architecture, and database management with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) for optimal performance.
• Document configurations, workflows, and procedures adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Experience
• Proven experience in system administration within IT infrastructure environments supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong background in systems engineering with expertise in operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux distributions.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform administration including scripting (JavaScript), workflow automation, and solution architecture.
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, load balancing techniques, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi and Azure cloud services; experience working with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience integrating diverse systems using RESTful APIs and managing microservices architectures within an Agile development framework.
• Understanding of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL Server; proficiency in T-SQL or PL/SQL is advantageous.
• Exposure to DevOps methodologies utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Git repositories, shell scripting (Bash), Python or PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
• A background in computer science or related fields with a focus on system design principles—especially in high-demand IT environments—will set you up for success.
