ServiceNow Administrator

Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced ServiceNow Administrator with a Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification and hands-on expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing our IT asset lifecycle using ServiceNow, ensuring compliance, cost-efficiency, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, focusing on SAM and HAM modules.
• Configure and manage asset lifecycle workflows, discovery integrations, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure accurate data in CMDB and asset repositories through regular audits and automation.
• Implement and maintain software license models, entitlements, and reclamation policies.
• Manage hardware asset tracking, procurement, inventory, and disposal processes.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to align asset management with business goals.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for asset utilization, compliance, and cost savings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset data, integrations, and platform performance.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices, upgrades, and new features related to SAM/HAM.

Required Qualifications:
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) mandatory.
• 4+ years of experience administering ServiceNow, with at least 3 years focused on SAM and HAM modules.
• Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and software compliance.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and integration with third-party tools.
• Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Glide) and workflow automation.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
