Job Role: ServiceNow Administrator
Duration: 6+Months
Location: Orange, CT(Onsite)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Administrator to join our team on a Contract-to-Hire basis (6 months CTH). This role is 100% onsite in Orange, CT. The Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform to support business operations and ensure system reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, access controls, and system configurations.
Configure, maintain, and enhance core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and CMDB.
Develop and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations to meet business requirements.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
Support upgrades, patches, and new releases while ensuring platform stability and compatibility.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with ITIL processes.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration changes, procedures, and training materials.
Provide end-user support, training, and guidance to ensure effective use of the platform.
Ensure compliance with established security policies and best practices within ServiceNow.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5–7+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
Proficiency in developing workflows, client scripts, business rules, and UI policies.
Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified IT Service Management Implementation (CIS-ITSM)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ITIL Foundation Certification.
Experience with ServiceNow reporting and dashboards.
Exposure to ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD modules.
Experience supporting upgrades and platform migrations.
Spanish language skills are preferred although not required
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite from day one in Orange, CT. The role begins as a 6-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity with the potential for conversion to full-time employment. Candidates must be available to work standard business hours on-site.
