ServiceNow Admin (Local to MI)

We are seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to support a growing backlog and increased workload as our organization prepares for a strategic ServiceNow platform go-live. This role is intentionally being hired during the ramp-up phase so the new team member can support implementation activities, assist with go-live readiness, and help drive ongoing enhancements and long-term expansion of the platform.

This is an administrator + configuration-focused role, not a heavy developer position. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on ServiceNow administration experience and be able to take business/technical requirements and translate them into real, functional ServiceNow configurations.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day ServiceNow system administration, including user access, roles, groups, and platform support
• Perform system configuration and customization to meet business and technical requirements
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow components such as:
• Forms, fields, and layouts
• Workflows and approvals
• Notifications and business rules (as needed)
• Service catalog items and requests (where applicable)
• Support ServiceNow ramp-up and go-live activities, including testing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Assist with post-implementation enhancements, fixes, and ongoing platform improvements
• Collaborate closely with an existing ServiceNow resource, with responsibility primarily focused on system configuration work
• Help manage and resolve workload and backlog priorities through timely execution of configuration tasks
• Support long-term platform growth as ServiceNow expands beyond IT into additional departments and workflows

Required Qualifications
• Strong experience as a ServiceNow Administrator
• Hands-on expertise in ServiceNow configuration and customization
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow platform features and administration best practices
• Some exposure to ServiceNow development/scripting (not a heavy developer role)
• Ability to take stated requirements and effectively build solutions in ServiceNow ( make it real )
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high volume and backlog-driven work

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting ServiceNow go-live or implementation phases
• Experience with post-go-live support and continued platform enhancement
• Familiarity with ServiceNow scaling beyond IT (HR, Facilities, Operations, etc.)
• Experience working in environments where ServiceNow demand grows over time
