ServiceNow GRC / IRM Admin — Recruiter Intake Notes
What This Person Does
This person owns and supports the ServiceNow GRC / IRM platform used by risk, compliance, audit, controls, business continuity, and/or security teams.
They are not necessarily a developer. The right candidate is more of a GRC systems administrator / analyst who can configure the platform, clean up workflows, support users, manage data, build reports, and translate risk/compliance needs into ServiceNow changes.
Best-Fit Candidate
Look for someone who has done one of these:
• ServiceNow Admin with GRC/IRM experience
Best match, but smaller candidate pool.
• GRC/Risk Systems Analyst who has used ServiceNow IRM/GRC
Also strong. May not have “admin” in their title.
• Risk, audit, compliance, or controls person who owns a GRC tool
Possible fit if they have supported tools like ServiceNow, Archer, AuditBoard, LogicGate, MetricStream, OneTrust, etc.
Must-Haves
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or another major GRC/risk/compliance tool
• Understanding of risk, compliance, controls, audit, business continuity, or third-party risk
• Ability to support users, troubleshoot issues, manage data quality, and improve workflows
• Experience with reports, dashboards, forms, fields, notifications, roles, or access
• Strong communication skills with both business users and technical teams
Nice-to-Haves
• ServiceNow IRM/GRC experience
• ServiceNow BCM experience
• Banking, financial services, insurance, healthcare, or regulated industry background
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• Experience with SOX, NIST, ISO, SOC 2, internal audit, control testing, or issue remediation
