While ServiceNow experience is required, this is fundamentally a UX‑focused role centered on designing intuitive, consistent, and accessible user experiences aligned to business outcomes, platform governance, and enterprise UX principles.

This role is a senior individual contributor position with no people management responsibilities. The successful candidate will bring deep experience in enterprise UX, service design, and platform experience design, and will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to ensure user needs are embedded throughout planning, design, and delivery.

• Design user‑centered solutions that are intuitive, consistent, accessible, and scalable across enterprise use cases.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, effective, and user‑focused designs.

UX Standards, Consistency & Accessibility
• Apply enterprise UX principles, design standards, and usability best practices to all ServiceNow‑related work.
• Ensure UX designs meet accessibility and usability expectations and support a consistent experience across the platform.
• Participate in UX reviews to provide feedback and ensure alignment with enterprise UX guidelines.

Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Delivery
• Partner with Business Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Developers to incorporate UX thinking from intake through delivery.
• Advocate for user needs and ensure UX considerations are integrated into platform and solution decision‑making.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced enterprise environment with multiple concurrent initiatives.

Workshops, Research & Design Enablement
• Facilitate and participate in UX workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder working sessions to align on experience goals.
• Contribute to experience research activities such as journey mapping, workflow design, and experience validation.
• Promote user‑centered design practices and share UX best practices related to enterprise platforms and ServiceNow.

Senior Individual Contributor Expectations
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for UX outcomes.
• Influence design decisions through expertise, communication, and collaboration—without formal authority.
• Balance UX quality with delivery timelines and platform constraints.

Minimum Requirements
• Typically requires 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
• Strong UX background with demonstrated experience in user experience design, product design, experience design, or service design.
• Hands‑on experience working with the ServiceNow platform, supporting UX design for portals, workspaces, workflows, or employee/agent experiences.
• Experience operating as a senior individual contributor in a large, complex enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to convert complex business and technical requirements into intuitive, user‑centered experiences.
• Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Experience facilitating UX or design workshops using tools such as Miro, whiteboarding tools, PowerPoint, or similar.
• Solid understanding of usability, accessibility, and enterprise UX principles.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing for enterprise platforms or internal tools.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow UX areas such as Service Portal, Workspaces, or Now Experience.
• Exposure to UX standards, design systems, or accessibility practices in an enterprise setting.

Certifications
• ServiceNow certifications are a plus but not required.
• UX or design‑related certifications are considered an asset.
