Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst (ITAM) – Contract (12 Months, Hybrid NYC)

I am seeking a Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst (ITAM) to support the design and delivery of advanced ITAM/HAM solutions for a major enterprise program. This role combines strong business analysis capability with hands-on ServiceNow expertise, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end solution support.

Role Overview

You will work closely with customers, architects, and development teams to gather requirements, define processes, support solution design, and ensure successful implementation of ServiceNow ITAM solutions. The role includes facilitating workshops, creating documentation, supporting change and adoption activities, and mentoring junior team members.

Location: Manhattan, NYC (3 days onsite per week)

Contract Length: 12 months initially C2C

Key Responsibilities
• Lead workshops, presentations, demos, and training sessions on ServiceNow ITAM/HAM
• Define current vs. future state processes and gather detailed requirements
• Create clear and actionable user stories for development teams
• Provide process and technical guidance aligned with ServiceNow best practices
• Collaborate with architects and developers on solution design and delivery
• Produce training materials and run train-the-trainer sessions
• Support testing, change activities, and customer enablement
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience working in a professional services environment
• Strong business analysis capability: requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience
• Deep understanding of ITAM/HAM and ServiceNow platform functionality
• Proven experience delivering ServiceNow enhancement or implementation projects
• Knowledge of ITSM principles and delivery assurance practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with onshore/offshore teams
• Comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications
• ServiceNow System Administrator certification
• Certified Implementation Specialist (preferably ITAM/HAM)
• ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
• Familiarity with web technologies, integrations, and databases
• Hands-on configuration experience (workflows, forms, catalogs, custom apps)
• Basic development skills (JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX)
• Understanding of ITAM architecture including Discovery, integrations, and MID Server
