Role: Senior ServiceNow Architect
Contract: 24+ months (long-term)
Location: Arlington, VA 20166
Overview
Lead the enhancement of ServiceNow platform by analyzing Change, Configuration, Release Management processes, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements.
Responsibilities
• Assess current ServiceNow implementation, identify gaps/inefficiencies, and propose enhancements.
• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.
• Configure ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), Knowledge, Service Catalog, CMDB.
• Build and maintain Dashboards, Portals, Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, Scripts, Scheduled Jobs.
• Integrate with third-party systems (REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers).
• Collaborate with process owners, architects, stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Ensure code quality, performance, best practices.
• Support upgrades, patching, performance tuning.
• Provide technical documentation, user guides, and support deployment/testing.
• Troubleshoot configuration, scripting, integration issues.
Qualifications
• 8+ years ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong in ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog.
• Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow Studio.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, integrations.
• Knowledge of Flow Designer, Portal, Automation Engine.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to work independently.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $90.00 – $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Arlington, VA 22202
