This role is for senior ServiceNow engineers who design and build platforms—not admin-only or ticket-focused profiles.

What You’ll Own
• Architecture and technical direction of an enterprise ServiceNow platform
• Hands-on development across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SecOps, GRC, and TPRM
• CMDB, Discovery, integrations, and platform scalability
• Technical governance, upgrades, and security-aligned delivery
• Mentoring ServiceNow engineers while remaining a hands-on contributor

Day-to-Day Work
• Architect workflows, custom apps, and integrations using JavaScript and Glide
• Lead ServiceNow upgrades and platform optimization efforts
• Design and stabilize CMDB and Discovery in a regulated environment
• Partner with IT, Security, Finance, and Engineering teams on platform strategy
• Own technical decisions and enforce platform best practices

Must-Have Experience
• 10+ years hands-on ServiceNow development
• Enterprise experience with ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SecOps, GRC, and TPRM
• Strong platform architecture and solution design ownership
• JavaScript / Glide scripting expertise
• Experience leading ServiceNow technical delivery
• Ability to work onsite in Reston, VA two days per week
