Akkodis is partnered with a leading financial service firm who specialize in payment processing to recruit a Senior Configuration Management Specialist to play a key role in an enterprise-wide CMDB transformation initiative.
This role is focused on stabilizing, maturing and rebuilding the CMDB, driving governance, discovery, service mapping, and stakeholders engagement. This is a high-visibility role that touches over 300+ services and stakeholder groups across the organization. You will be seen as the CMDB SME – aligning teams, data, tools, and processes to ensure CMDB becomes a single source of truth for the enterprise.

What You’ll Do
• Lead the design, accuracy, security, and sustainability of the CMDB
• Own CMDB governance, audit findings, corrective actions and reporting
• Drive discovery and service mapping – ensuring completeness and integrity
• Run Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and track outcomes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with 300+ services, teams, and owners
• Define and enforce configuration management standards and processes
• Develop and deliver dashboards, KPI/KRI reporting, and ad-hoc analytics
• Provide training, knowledge sharing, and guidance across the technology organization
• Lead the CMDB maturity roadmap, including uplift, improvement, and integrations

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Experience
• Proven experience working as a Configuration Management professional aiding in the stabilization, maturity, upgrade, enhancement and improvement of CMDB
• Deep expertise with ServiceNow CMDB – with expertise related to Discovery and Service Mapping, CMDB configuration, Flow Designer, Report generation & dashboards, etc.
• Experience delivering CMDB uplift, upgrades, or large transformation projects
• Ability to manage audit findings and governance requirements
• Some scripting (flexible on language) for report generation
• Understanding / proficiency in Infrastructure components – Networking, Servers, storage, databases, etc.
• Proven experience influencing stakeholders and leading change across complex environments
Nice to Have
• ITIL or ITSM certifications
• Experience leading enterprise-wide CMDB initiatives
