Senior (AVP) ServiceNow Administrator (Full Time/No H1B or Sponsorship)

I have a full time opportunity for one of our largest marketing and media companies located in Parsippany, NJ. This is a senior role working with the ServiceNow Platform Leader.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with the platform owner and lead developer as the new team is formed.
• Perform a comprehensive health check and discovery of the existing environment to understand custom configurations left by the previous team.
• Manage day-to-day administration, including user management, group management, and security ACLs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents related to core platform functionality and integrations.
• Support and maintain the current deployment, specifically focused on ITSM, CMDB, IRM (GRC), and HRSD.
• Diagnose issues within the CMDB to ensure data integrity and reconciliation rules are functioning correctly.
• Manage existing API integrations (REST/SOAP) between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise tools, ensuring connectivity and data flow remain uninterrupted.

Qualifications
• Solid experience with Service Now and also an understanding IT Service Management processes: Incident, Change, Knowledge, Problem, Request, Service Catalog, CMDB, Discovery Demand, Resource and Project/Portfolio Management
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written) skills, and the ability to work effectively individually and in teams with a diverse user base having varied levels of technical proficiencies
• Strong analytical skills for problem solving
• Experience developing custom applications within the ServiceNow platform from the ground up
• Experience administering a ServiceNow instance including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions
• Experience with creating ServiceNow workflows, creating ServiceNow update sets and testing/implementing those update sets into production
• Ability to document processes/procedures and changes performed in the system
• Ability to understand business needs for effective solution development, understand requirements and turn requirements into usable products
• Must be able to multi-task between and among projects
• Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes preferred
• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification preferred
• Experience with various technical components: implementing, configuring and customizing Web Technologies (XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.),web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3), LDAP, VPN, SSL and other related technologies preferred
