About the Position: This role will lead and manage our ServiceNow team at Veeam. The successful candidate will bring both a strategic vision and best-practices to guide the ServiceNow team, coupled with hands-on and tactical approach to continuously scale our platform. You should have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform as well as experience across a variety of service management processes common to a mid-size global technology company. Looking for someone with previous end-to-end IT visibility who can articulate how they’ve applied automation at scale with the ServiceNow platform. Candidate should have strong understanding and experience with the following ServiceNow modules: CSM, ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC and ITAM.

ServiceNow is a fast paced and innovative platform. Any candidate for this role should be comfortable working in unfamiliar or new areas of the platform, reading online documentation, and ensuring your skills are evolving with ServiceNow releases as well as our own roadmap and vision. In addition to the required skills, you should be comfortable interacting outside of the IT department with the business and have a high degree of business aptitude, professional maturity, and poise.

Your tasks will include:
• Hire, manage, mentor, and lead a world-class and globally distributed ServiceNow team
• Create an environment of continuous growth and improvement within the team
• Responsible for ServiceNow solutions, vision, roadmap, and strategy
• Drive key features and major initiatives through to completion (implementation plan, communication plan, vendor management, organizational change management, etc.)
• Negotiate trade-offs and ensure clear accountability, targets, timelines, and deliverables
• Reduce implementation complexity and mature operations to accelerate delivery
• Ensure scalability & reliability of business-critical systems in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience driving process rigor and outcomes by analyzing operational metrics
• Present our strategy and vision to key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Establish strong relationships based on trust and transparency with stakeholders, external vendors, and ServiceNow implementation partners
• Automate common business requests (service catalog, integrations, etc.)
• Stay up to date on relevant industry trends and best practices and constantly exchange ideas
• Evaluate industry leading standards for related systems and processes

What we expect from you:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of ServiceNow platform experience (Developer or Architecture background preferred)
• 3-4 years of people management experience
• Strong experience with ServiceNow CSM, ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC, ITAM and integrations
• Knowledge of common end-to-end business processes
• Strong communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organizational skills
• Self-starter who can seek out needs and information without directives
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences
• Ability to work well with culturally diverse team
• Willing to work in a flexible environment to accommodate time zones outside of EMEA
• Consulting background/experience is a plus
• English proficiency level sufficient to communicate with international teams
