Lead ServiceNow Engineer – IRM

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead ServiceNow Engineer – IRM to join a senior platform engineering team responsible for delivering and evolving enterprise risk solutions across IRM, BCM, and TPRM within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical engineering, solution architecture, and platform ownership, with strong engagement across business risk, architecture, and technology teams.

Location & Work Model
• Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week
• Offices: Holmdel, NJ

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Platform Engineering
• Design, build, and support solutions across IRM, BCM, and TPRM modules on ServiceNow
• Develop workflows using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, ACLs, and related configurations
• Implement risk models, questionnaires, scoring frameworks, and approval workflows

Integrations & Data Management
• Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems (CMDB, vendor platforms, and external data sources)
• Work with REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub
• Support integrations with risk platforms such as RSA Archer

Production Support & Stability
• Provide L2 support for IRM/BCM/TPRM applications
• Monitor system performance, scheduled jobs, integrations, and data quality
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance

Solution Design & Delivery
• Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow technical solutions
• Maintain configuration standards, reusable components, and governance practices
• Support platform upgrades and adoption of new ServiceNow features

Leadership & Collaboration
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and risk leaders
• Contribute to platform strategy and roadmap discussions

Required Experience
• 8–10+ years in enterprise SaaS platform engineering
• 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow development or advanced administration
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and workflows
• Experience with IRM, BCM, TPRM, or broader GRC solutions
• Strong integration experience (REST/SOAP/Integration Hub)
• Experience with reporting, dashboards, and data-driven solutions
• Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills

Nice to Have
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-IRM, CIS-BCM, CIS-TPRM)
• Experience with scoped applications and CI/CD pipelines
• Prior experience with GRC platforms (Archer, MetricStream, OneTrust, LogicGate, etc.)
• Exposure to ServiceNow advisory boards, roadmap sessions, or beta programs
• Experience driving automation, governance, and platform optimization initiatives
