Job Description:
Lead ServiceNow Developer with Portal Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree with 10+ Years of Professional Experience
Clearance level: Secret
Qualifications
• 3 years or more of experience developing ServiceNow solutions in Portal
• 5 years or more of General ServiceNow Implementation experience
• Demonstratable experience building portal widgets and customizing ServiceNow components
• Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow Service Portals, ensuring intuitive user interfaces and optimal user experience
• Create and enhance custom widgets using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to extend portal functionality and meet specific business requirements
• Hands-on experience configuring or building ServiceNow applications
• Experience in supporting architecture and product owner team in establishing users, groups, and roles in ServiceNow
• Support program team as technical advisor, overseeing technical aspects of implementations, resolving technical issues, and defining best practices for configuration, scripting, and workflow automation
• 3 or more years of Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports)
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript
• Experience in customizing UI and creating complex workflows
• Understanding of integration techniques with external systems
• Experience working in IL5 and IL6 environments is preferred
• ServiceNow certifications preferred
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator preferred
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer preferred
Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to address specific business needs and enhance client satisfaction through effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Partner with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to gather and document business objectives and functional requirements.
• Portal Design, Creation of Widgets, Workflow Integration and automation
• Work closely with government Product Owners to translate requirements to technical implementation and delivery
• Support architects in designing and integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications.
• Facilitate data migration processes from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct detailed testing of ServiceNow configurations to confirm functionality and safeguard data integrity.
• Monitor platform performance and apply strategies to optimize the efficiency of ServiceNow solutions.
• Support the program team on change management activities
• Provide training and resources to help end-users smoothly integrate and adopt the implemented solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow deployments.
• Stay informed about the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices to drive continuous program improvements.
• Collaborate with scrum team members in an Agile / Scale Agile Framework environment
• Ensure technical documentation for configurations and customizations is thorough and complete.
