IT Service Management (ITSM) Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a deep understanding of IT service management processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The ServiceNow Developer will work closely with stakeholders to enhance system functionality, streamline processes, and ensure optimal performance.

Duties
• Design, develop, and implement custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications, ensuring they meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications, including scripting errors and integration problems.
• Implement best practices for coding, documentation, and change management within the SDLC framework.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies while developing solutions.
• Provide support for firewall settings, and server management as needed.
• Manage project execution, asset tracking, and inventory management to minimize risk.
• Ensure strict compliance with secure data destruction and environmentally responsible disposal.
• Computer hardware expertise a MUST.

Skills
• Proficiency in ServiceNow development and administration REQUIRED.
• Strong background in electronics repair, IT asset management, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to solve potential issues before they arise.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to adapt to operational changes and shifting priorities
