Title: IT Portfolio Transformation Lead – ServiceNow SPM
Term: Contract
Location: Morris Plains, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Transformation Lead to drive the adoption and disciplined execution of the IT Transformation Management Office (TMO) operating model and governance framework.
This role is a hands-on transformation leadership position, focused on embedding ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) as the IT system of record. The selected candidate will ensure consistency and rigor across IT demand intake, portfolio prioritization, planning, and delivery execution.
This is not a traditional PMO role. The ideal candidate will bring strong transformation experience, with the ability to drive change, enforce governance discipline, and elevate IT portfolio execution maturity across a complex IT organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive adoption of the IT TMO operating model and governance framework
• Embed and scale ServiceNow SPM as the enterprise IT portfolio system of record
• Establish consistent processes for:
• IT demand intake
• Portfolio prioritization
• IT planning and delivery execution
• Enforce governance, transparency, and accountability across IT initiatives
• Lead portfolio prioritization and scenario planning, including annual planning cycles
• Drive large-scale IT transformation initiatives and organizational change
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve portfolio execution maturity
• Ensure disciplined execution of portfolio governance and decision-making frameworks
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
• Strong experience in IT Portfolio/Program Management (PPM)
• Expertise in portfolio prioritization, including scenario planning and annual planning
• Proven experience driving IT transformation / TMO initiatives
• Strong background in governance, demand management, and portfolio prioritization
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SPM adoption (mandatory)
• Experience in change management and organizational adoption
• Exposure to large-scale IT operating model transformations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
