HR/Business Systems Analyst – Non-IT III (ServiceNow)

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst – Non IT III to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy.

Contract Period: 18 months with potential to extend

Pay Rate: Starting from $50 per hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid

Business Hours: Monday-Friday;9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:
• Facilitate discovery with business/HR partners
• Analyze and document business & user requirements and acceptance criteria in partnership with the Enablement Lead and CoE
• Prepare/update functional specs, process maps, and UI/UX validation against agreed standards and personas using human centered design practices
• Own test strategy & execution oversight
• Define risk based test strategies (functional & non-functional) including scope, entry/exit criteria, coverage targets, and reporting
• Create/maintain test plans, suites, and requirements to test traceability (RTM)
• Build and curate regression suites for repeatable, reliable releases
• Coordinate test execution across system, integration, UAT, and release/regression cycles
• Ensure evidence capture and auditability
• Plan and lead UAT (scripts, data, participant readiness), align on acceptance criteria, facilitate triage & sign off, and support hyper care for early defect containment
• Support vendor release assessment, testing and contribute to change management activities
• Run defect triage with severity/priority guidelines
• Drive cross team resolution with product, platform, and vendor partners
• Publish quality metrics (coverage, pass rate, defect) and insights that inform continuous improvement in partnership with Project Management Office
• Coordinate (with platform/security/UX teams) accessibility, performance, security/privacy, and reliability checks appropriate to HR SaaS and integrations
• Align environment plans, test schedules, and release calendars
• Ensure synthetic/anonymized test data is used in non-production to protect confidentiality
• Identify and implement process/documentation improvements (playbooks, templates, checklists, knowledge articles) to enhance quality, and colleague experience.

Experience & Qualification Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years as a Business Systems Analyst or HR Systems Analyst supporting enterprise HR/People Comms technology
• Experience with Workday and/or ServiceNow HRSD, including HR SaaS modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time & Absence
• Hands on Test Lead experience, including test strategy, planning, execution oversight, and defect management/triage
• Strong understanding of SDLC (agile and/or waterfall) and functional/non functional testing methodologies
• Proficiency with test and defect management tools (e.g., Test Plans/Xray, JIRA)
• Proven experience developing business requirements and documentation
• Strong facilitation and communication skills
• Comfortable leading workshops, UAT, and triage sessions with global stakeholders
• Familiarity with accessibility testing, performance testing concepts, and HR data privacy standards
• Human Centered Design exposure, CHRP/CHRL, or PMP
• Experience working in global organizations
• Experience coordinating with vendors or managed services in HR tech ecosystems
• Configuration or coding experience.
