Job Title: Assistant Vice President – ServiceNow technical Architect

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for leading ServiceNow development teams, designing and delivering custom applications and workflows, and managing end-to-end implementation across business units. The position requires strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, especially custom app development, ITSM modules, integrations, and automation.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage ServiceNow developers and senior developers to deliver custom applications.
• Design, configure, customize, and implement ServiceNow workflows and modules.
• Develop and enhance features for new or existing ServiceNow applications.
• Write, review, and maintain clean and scalable code following best practices.
• Build and configure service requests, forms, and workflows based on business needs.
• Use scripting and automation (primarily JavaScript) to streamline processes.
• Perform integrations with external systems (using web services, APIs, SOAP, REST, MID Server, etc.).
• Work on CMDB, Discovery, and data integrations.
• Conduct system and integration testing, monitor platform health and performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Ensure development follows SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Troubleshoot issues and support on-call operational needs.
• Document solutions and knowledge articles.
• Promote teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset).
• Experience in custom/scoped app development using ServiceNow App Engine.
• Hands-on development experience in JavaScript (core language used in ServiceNow), along with HTML, CSS, XML, and AJAX.
• Experience using Glide scripting, workflows, UI actions, and business rules.
• Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot, and work independently.
