Administrator II, Systems – ServiceNow

Job Summary: Manage the ServiceNow system encompassing permissions, upgrades, troubleshooting, reporting, optimization, and project coordination.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
• Improves business processes and manages continuous improvement projects.
• Analyzes the current environment and proposes automation whenever possible.
• Coordinates upgrades and changes to the ServiceNow instance.
• Manages permissions and access (roles, users, and groups).
• Guides business users with the process and ServiceNow.
• Maintains instance performance with regular checkups.
• Troubleshoots day-to-day operation and system issues.
• Works with the ServiceNow support team to resolve issues.
• Deploys update sets from non-prod environments.
• Sets up reports, schedules them, and configures notifications and alerts.
• Ensures CMDB health and manages data templates.
• Collaborates closely with Project Managers and business stakeholders to implement ITIL best practices.

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science. Minimum 2-3 years of job-related experience.

Previous experience in ServiceNow ITSM processes and workflows.

Hands-on development, management, and deployment experience with ServiceNow.

Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML, and web services REST API, SOAP.

Certifications Preferred

ServiceNow – Certified System Administrator

ServiceNow – Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM) – Good to Have.

ITIL Foundation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in ITIL and ServiceNow delivery best practices.
• Expertise in ServiceNow configuration, administration, and usage.
• Capable of investigating system issues and recommending permanent solutions and workarounds.

Work Environment
• Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
