Job Title: Systems Analyst – ServiceNow
Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) Hybrid role
Compensation Range: $46-54/hr (Final compensation will be based on experience and skillset)
Contract: 12 Month Contract-to-Hire
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Fortune 100 hospitality client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to support a dynamic ServiceNow deployment initiative on a hybrid basis in McLean, VA. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring that complex business needs are accurately translated into clear, actionable technical specifications. You will play a key role in driving the success of the deployment by contributing to documentation, testing, collaboration, and continuous process improvement efforts. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications to support a ServiceNow deployment
• Leverage experience with ServiceNow workflows and reporting to inform and enhance technical solutions
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical specification documents for development teams
• Refine user stories and use cases into actionable technical requirements
• Maintain and manage updates to all documentation as requirements evolve
• Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and full understanding of technical specifications
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during development phases
• Develop and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications
• Support the testing phase to validate that delivered products meet specified requirements
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements in requirement gathering and documentation
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for technical documentation and processes
WHAT YOU BRING
• 3+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical specifications
• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow workflows and reporting
• 1+ years of experience developing and executing test cases and supporting validation efforts
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification preferred
• Relevant certifications in business analysis (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional – CBAP) are a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
• Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers and business stakeholders
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment
