Job Overview:
• The ServiceNow Developer Lead will lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise ServiceNow applications.
• This role involves technical leadership, solution design, architecture guidance, and hands-on development across multiple ServiceNow modules while ensuring compliance with DevSecOps and enterprise standards.
Requirement/Must Have:
• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science required.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
• ServiceNow Developer Certification is mandatory.
• Strong experience in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, etc.).
• Experience with ITSM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, and SOM modules.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and integrations.
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
Experience:
• 8+ years in software design, development, and system implementation.
• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise applications for thousands of users.
• 5+ years specifically in ServiceNow platform development.
• Experience in system integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in global enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of software engineers in ServiceNow application development.
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions and integrations.
• Conduct code reviews, technical design, and testing activities.
• Identify system risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and compliance with standards.
Should Have:
• ServiceNow Admin Certification (preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket and API management tools.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with UX/UI design and enterprise integrations.
Skills:
• ServiceNow (ITSM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, SOM)
