Job Title: ServiceNow SecOps Architect (2 Positions)
Location: 1) 100% Remote & 2) Onsite at Stamford, CT
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Description:
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of security operations solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on architecting scalable, automated, and integrated security workflows to support vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps)solutions including:
• Vulnerability Response (VR)
• Security Incident Response (SIR)
• Threat Intelligence (TI)
• Design end-to-end security workflows integrated with ITSM, CMDB, and third-party tools.
• Lead platform architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security compliance.
• Define best practices, governance standards, and data models within ServiceNow.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external security tools (SIEM, scanners, EDR platforms).
• Collaborate with security teams, stakeholders, and business units to align solutions with enterprise security strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and administrators.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve incident response and vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow SecOps modules (VR, SIR, TI).
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, CMDB, and ITSM.
• Expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs).
• Experience integrating with tools like:
• SIEM (Splunk, QRadar)
• Vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)
• Threat intelligence platforms
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Preferred Qualifications:
• ServiceNow certifications:
• CSA (Certified System Administrator)
• CIS-SecOps
• CAD (Certified Application Developer)
• Experience in enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with scripting automation tools (Python, PowerShell).
