Job Description

The House of Commons’ Digital Services and Real Property (DSRP) is currently looking to staff several ServiceNow Developer positions on both a term and indeterminate basis.

ServiceNow Developers are responsible for the design, development, configuration, and integration of solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The role includes gathering and analyzing requirements, developing custom applications and configuring modules and features including, but not limited to, HRSD, ITSM, Employee Center, Knowledge Base, Flow Designer, ACLs, Vault, etc., and supporting the full development lifecycle including testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Developers contribute to issue resolution, system enhancements, and the continuous improvement of platform capabilities while ensuring alignment with established standards, best practices, and organizational requirements. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery and adoption of ServiceNow solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

Education :
• Graduation from a college or technical institute in the area of information technology, computer science or other related fields, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience in the field of technology.

Experiences :

Note: A work term, co-op, or internship may also be considered as experience
• Experience developing and configuring solutions within the ServiceNow platform;
• Experience working with ServiceNow modules and features including, but not limited to, HRSD, ITSM, Employee Center, Knowledge Base, Flow Designer, ACLs, Vault, etc.;
• Experience with scripting and development using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow development frameworks;
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools;
• Experience testing and validating platform configurations and customizations;
• Experience drafting technical documentation;
• Experience identifying and resolving technical issues.

Assets :
• Experience with Agile product delivery methodologies;
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• ServiceNow certifications.
