ServiceNow CMDB Architect

Akkodis is seeking an ServiceNow CMDB Architect for a Contract with a client in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on architecting CMDB data models and improving CMDB health through governance, quality controls, and integration design.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

ServiceNow CMDB Architect Job Responsibilities Include
• Define and own the CMDB target architecture and data model, ensuring alignment with the CSDM and enterprise standards.
• Design and govern CI classes, relationships, and lifecycle states, including normalization, reconciliation, and de-duplication policies.
• Architect and optimize Discovery and Service Mapping (horizontal and top‑down) to ensure accurate service dependency maps and CI population.
• Establish and run CMDB governance—data ownership, quality controls, and operating procedures—to drive completeness, correctness, and compliance.
• Monitor and improve CMDB Health using KPIs and dashboards; remediate gaps through automated controls, integrations, and process changes.
• Design and oversee integrations with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), monitoring/ITOM tools, and asset systems; act as CMDB design authority and SME for audits and delivery teams.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in IT Service Management with extensive hands‑on expertise in ServiceNow CMDB.
• Deep understanding of the CSDM framework with proven experience designing CMDB architecture for large, complex enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB Health, and integrations with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
