• Define architectural standards, patterns, guardrails, and governance for the ServiceNow platform.
• Ensure proper data modeling, CMDB alignment, and CSDM compliance.
• Provide architectural oversight for new modules, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
• Evaluate technical designs, review solution proposals, and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Platform Manager to define platform strategy and roadmap.
• Produce high-quality architectural documentation and diagrams.
• Guide development and administration teams to ensure architecture compliance.
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5+ years of IM/IT experience, including 5+ years architecting solutions on ServiceNow.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS (multiple modules), and CTA – preferred.
• ITIL certification – required.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF) – an asset.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, table design, data models, and integration patterns.
• Strong ability to produce architectural diagrams, logical models, and platform governance structures.
• Experience aligning CSDM (Common Service Data Model) and CMDB best practices.
• Ability to guide developers, analysts, and administrators.
• Strong analytical, planning, and documentation skills.
• Ability to oversee platform performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, including technical leadership.
