Job Summary
Argus Consulting is looking for a ServiceNow ITOM / ITSM Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise across IT Operations Management, Service Availability, CMDB/CSDM, HAM/SAM, and ITSM modules.
The role involves designing, integrating, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to ensure accurate service visibility, asset lifecycle management, and operational reliability across enterprise environments.
Key Functional Responsibilities
• Design and implement ITOM and Service Availability solutions to monitor and measure application and infrastructure uptime.
• Configure and maintain CMDB aligned with CSDM standards, ensuring data accuracy, relationships, and service mapping integrity.
• Implement and support Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes across the asset lifecycle.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) with ITOM and Asset data.
• Define service models, CI relationships, and dependency mappings to enable effective operational decision-making.
• Support audits, compliance reporting, and operational dashboards using CMDB, HAM, and SAM data.
Technical Responsibilities
• Develop REST-based integrations to import and synchronize data from external systems into ServiceNow.
• Configure Transform Maps and Reconciliation Rules to normalize, deduplicate, and govern CMDB data.
• Write server-side and client-side scripts to support:
• Availability calculation logic
• Custom business rules
• Data validation and enrichment
• Configure and customize HAM workflows, including:
• Asset onboarding
• Lifecycle state transitions
• Asset-to-CI synchronization
• Implement lifecycle syncs between Assets, CIs, and Services to ensure end-to-end traceability.
• Optimize discovery and integration data flows to improve data reliability and performance.

• ITOM Specialist
• HAM/SAM Specialist
• Experience working in enterprise or PSU environments is an added advantage.
